Irish boxer Katie Taylor will, again, take on Amanda Serrano at New York City's famed Madison Square Garden on Friday night, July 11.
It will be the third time that Wicklow native Taylor, Ireland’s undisputed super lightweight champion, will face Brooklyn’s Puerto Rican seven-division champion Serrano in the ring.
Friday night's event is produced, marketed, and promoted by Most Valuable Promotions and distributed by Netflix, which will exclusively be streaming the fight globally to its subscribers.
Taylor and Serrano's rematch is the headliner for the first-ever all-women's boxing card in the history of Madison Square Garden.
"For both myself and Amanda, this is a history-making event," Taylor said at a press conference in New York City on Wednesday.
"This is absolutely huge that the sport is in a position where we're headlining a top-quality, all-female card.
"This is a huge moment for women's sport."
Taylor did add: "I love these kinds of challenges, and I do believe that I can beat her [Serrano] again."
