Recent search engine results back up our universal love for Irish weddings.  Searches in the UK for ‘wedding venues Ireland’ have jumped +69% year-on-year, while ‘castle wedding venues’ has increased by 53% year-on-year. According to TikTok, #irishcastlewedding has 22,500 views, #irishwedding has 55.8 million views, #castlewedding 7 million views, and #irishcastle has 11.1 million views.

Diamonds Factory Ireland scraped TripAdvisor to identify all of the Castles in Ireland that accommodate ‘weddings’. They then ranked each castle based on the number of reviews, the rating of the review and how likely it was to be recommended as an attraction in each city to determine the best overall castle to tie the knot.

If you have always dreamed of getting married in a fairytale, Belleek Castle in Ballina, County Mayo, is the location for you. It boasts a five-star rating on TripAdvisor, with most people praising the entertaining museum tour. 

One person who attended a wedding there said: “As far as the wedding as a venue: It is a dream-like environment. The stable was used for the ceremony and a quick reception in the main room and dinner and dancing in the basement. Dinner, snacks and drinks were all excellent. It was really nice to stay here.”

The enchanting castle dates back to the early 1400s and is located within 200 acres of magical woodland. The themed rooms and expansive gardens create beautiful backdrops for group and romantic photo opportunities.
