We’re just barely over a month away and preparations have begun for the most Irish day of the year: St. Patrick’s Day 2017. Here are a few of the US Irish events taking place in March and beyond. iStock

With the added ceremony of the 100th anniversary of the 1916 Easter Rising, March 2016 and St. Patrick’s Day 2016 were jam-packed with incredible celebrations and parades as Irish groups all across America held special events to honor the Rising's centenary year.

But we think this year we can do even better. March 2017 / St. Patrick’s Day 2017 will soon be upon us and with parade/celebration organizers already having spent weeks and months preparing, it’s definitely not too early for you to start planning how you’ll spend St. Patrick’s Day.

To get you started here’s IrishCentral first list of the best and brightest St. Patrick’s Day 2017 celebrations.
