Red Hot Sugar Cookes.

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Bake Time: 8 minutes

2 ¾ cups  all-purpose flour

1 tsp.  baking soda

½ tsp.  baking powder

1 ½ cups  sugar

1  egg

1 tsp.  vanilla

1  container of red cinnamon candies

Step 1: Pre-heat oven to 375*F. In a small bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda, and baking powder; set aside.

Set 2: In a large mixing bowl, beat butter with electric mixer on medium to high speed for 30 seconds. Add sugar; beat until combined, scraping the bowl. Beat in as much of the flour mixer for step 1 as you can, stir in the rest.

Step 3: Roll dough on lightly floured surface; cut out shapes. Place on ungreased cookie sheets. Lightly press in candies. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until golden. Let cool for 5 minutes.

Makes 48 cookies
