The Guinness-loving megastar is in Ireland for his worldwide tour

Hugh Jackman had his first ever pint of Guinness in Ireland this week ahead of his worldwide ‘The Man. The Music. The Show.’ tour’s Irish stops.

Jackman, a native of Australia, explained in a video that he’s been drinking Guinness his entire life, but has yet to have a pint while in Ireland.

“I’ve been waiting 50 years for this,” Jackman says in the video that he shared with his more than 13 million followers on May 29:

“Life is good,” says Jackman after taking a healthy sup of the black stuff.

So far, Jackman’s tweet has amassed over 42 thousand likes and 810 thousand views.

Jackman is in Ireland’s capital city of Dublin for the Irish tour stops of his ‘The Man. The Music. The Show’ world tour that features live musical performances from ‘The Greatest Showman,’ ‘Les Miserables,’ and ‘The Boy From Oz.’ His Irish shows will be hosted at the 3 Arena in Dublin from May 20 - 31.
