A surprise visit to Ireland for Katie Holmes.

Irish fans were delighted to spot their favorite Dawson’s Creek star Katie Holmes taking advantage of the Irish heatwave this week, enjoying the beautiful Monkstown in Dublin before traveling to Kilkenny Castle and Borris House in Co. Carlow.

After enjoying Paris Fashion Week with her daughter Suri, Holmes made a surprise low-key trip to Ireland and was spotted in Dublin enjoying Avoca before spending 4th of July with friends in Kilkenny Castle.

She sported a short bob and red and white striped dress as she visited the famous castle with friend Brendan Morrissey. She also dropped into the luxurious Borris House in Carlow, an exquisite house known for its boutique weddings.
