We're disappointed to say that Andrew Scott and Barry Keoghan were the only Irish heads we spotted amongst the vast crowd of A-listers at the event on Monday, May 5.
Though he appeared to be in good spirits, it wasn't all rainbows and butterflies for Barry, who had an awkward run-in with his ex-girlfriend Sabrina Carpenter, exactly one year after they made their red carpet debut at the same event. Yikes!
Barry was kitted out in a black Valentino suit, made a bit more exciting with a red sash, bejewelled sleeves and a bejewelled collar.
The 32-year-old actor sported his dandy new 'do, which he has adopted for his role as Ringo Starr in the upcoming biopics about The Beatles, which he'll star in alongside fellow Irishman Paul Mescal, Babygirl star Harris Dickinson and "Stranger Things'" Joseph Quinn.
Meanwhile, Andrew's cool outfit piqued our interest. He wore one of Hollywood's favourite labels, Giuliva Heritage, and we know we're biased, but he rocked it.

Custom-made by the Italian fashion house (we wouldn't expect anything less for the Hot Priest himself), Andrew donned a three-piece suit perfectly in keeping with the theme of the 2025 Met Gala: "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style" and the dress code "Tailored For You".
Per GQ, it's inspired by Harlem designer Dapper Dan, who is known as the "king of knock-offs" for transforming luxury goods into custom pieces for hip-hop royalty.
"It's really lovely to work with them again. I just think they're so playful, and I think that's what the Met Ball this year is asking of people. I'm wearing a lot of colour, you know, which I love,' Andrew told the publication.
"I think they're a brand that people know about, but you get a kind of intimate feel when you're working with them, which I really, really like.
"I love, love, love playing with colours," he continued. "It just feels really fun. It also feels like a really nice opportunity to contrast that with jewellery. I'm wearing an absolutely extraordinary ring by Harwell Godfrey that feels very Dandy-ish, and my mum's ring, of course."

And that, we're afraid, is all of the Irish representation on the 2025 Met Gala red carpet.
Barry and Andrew seem to have done something right, as the pair were also in attendance last year. Other Irish that stepped out on the 2024 red carpet included Jamie Dornan, Eve Hewson and Alison Oliver.
As well as that, the likes of Ariana Grande, Lana Del Ray, Zendaya, Ayo Edibiri and Sarah Jessica Parker championed Irish design at the 2024 event.
Where was that representation this time around, lads!?
