With a BAFTA Award under his belt and Golden Globes and Oscar nominations, actor Barry Keoghan has emerged as the toast of Tinseltown.

The Dublin-born star, who has received widespread critical acclaim for his acting prowess in a myriad of roles, is gearing up for a mega few years.

Barry Keoghan, who began his acting career with a minor role on RTE’s hit crime series Love/Hate, rose to global prominence for his roles as George Mills in Christopher Nolan’s historical thriller Dunkirk and Martin Lang in Yorgos Lanthimos’ psychological horror film The Killing of a Sacred Deer

However, it was his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut as Druig in Eternals that truly propelled Keoghan to superstardom.

Keoghan has showcased his acting prowess and proven himself as a versatile actor. And Keoghan is set to impress audiences and critics alike with his upcoming films, which range from thrillers to biographical movies.

He is staying booked and busy, with his name attached to several upcoming film projects. Keoghan’s latest big titles, like Saltburn and The Banshees of Inisherin, have cemented his status as a rising star.

Crime 101 sees Keoghan appear alongside Australian actor Chris Hemsworth, Law & Order star Mark Ruffalo and A-list actress Halle Barry in the movie, which is an adaptation of Don Winslow’s novella of the same name.

Crime 101 follows Detective Lou Lubesnick, played by Ruffalo, as he hunts down the perpetrator behind a series of jewel heists. Meanwhile, master criminal Davis — played by Hemsworth — is attempting a perfect final heist.

His next part sees him star alongside fellow Irishman and Oscar winner Cillian Murphy in the massively anticipated continuation of the critically acclaimed British crime drama series Peaky Blinders

The movie, directed by Tom Harper and written by Steven Knight, will feature Keoghan on the big screen alongside Cillian Murphy, Sophie Rundle, Stephen Graham, Ned Dennehy, Packy Lee, and Ian Peck reprising their roles from the original series.

For his next role, Keoghan will once again join forces with acclaimed director Johan Renck, best known for his Emmy-winning work on the hit series Chernobyl, where Keoghan took a leading role.

Amo Saddam is based on the book “The Prisoner in His Palace: Saddam Hussein, His American Guards, and What History Leaves Unsaid” by Will Bardenwerper. The book examines the experiences of the 12 United States soldiers who guarded the Iraqi dictator Hussein for months before he was executed. Keoghan will play the role of one of the U.S. soldiers guarding Hussein.

The Beatles’ rise to fame will be examined in the upcoming biopic film series, with each movie telling the story from the perspective of a different band member.
