The 77th edition of the coveted award ceremony took place overnight at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles, with Colin Farrell, Sharon Horgan and Ruth Negga all up for gongs.

The ceremony was hosted by stand-up comedian Nate Bargatze, with Apple TV+’s office sci-fi "Severance" nominated for 27 awards.

It was a big night for Netflix’s "Adolescence" with stars Owen Cooper and Stephen Graham both receiving recognition for their stellar performances.

Owen Cooper made history becoming the youngest ever-male actor to win an Emmy at the age of just 15 years old.

The British actor took home the award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie, while Stephen, who played his on-screen father, was awarded Best Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series/ Movie.

Graham and Doherty’s acting awards meant there was no recognition for Irish stars Colin Farrell for his role in "The Penguin" or Ruth Negga in "Presumed Innocent".
