Aer Lingus has launched a brand new website,, that will transform the online booking experience for all its smart travelers. The new site includes an explore tool, best fare finder, personalization options, booking management, online check-in and a price-lock that will allow you to hold your flight with just a deposit.

As part of its new brand repositioning which launched this spring “Smarts Flies Aer Lingus,” Aer Lingus is giving smart flyers a website experience that better reflects their brand., the beta preview site, presents an entirely new website that has been completely redesigned from the ground up.

The booking process has been streamlined into six simple steps, meaning managing your trip is now easier. In addition a new section full of tips, advice and inspiration for future trips should benefit guests with their travel plans.

The explore tool

The new explore tool allows you to explore destinations and options to tailor-make your next trip according to your budget, how far you wish to fly, and the nature of your trip whether it be for sun, ski, to shop or a foodie experience. A simple search function makes it easy to get inspired, find out facts and even see recommendations for places to visit and things to do in over 180 destinations.

Fare finder and price lock

The fare finder feature lets you see a full 30 days of prices in one go, so it’s easy to plan the smartest dates to travel. There is also a price lock feature where you can freeze any quoted short haul fare for 24 hours for $5.60 per flight and reserve a transatlantic fare with just a deposit.


Setting up a ‘My AerLingus’ profile will make the booking process even quicker as your flight history, personal details and payment details are stored, to save you even more time and effort the next time you book.

Easy to manage bookings

Managing your booking couldn’t be simpler. You can change your details and add extra purchases like car parking, travel insurance and pre-booked meals in one simple step.

Check-in can be completed for all flights up to 30 days in advance of travel.

Aer Lingus’ site currently has 4 million website visits each month and accounts for more than 80 percent of bookings made across its network and generates in excess of €1 billion in revenue. In Ireland and the UK, the percentage of online transactions rises to more than 90 percent as booking via the website is the preferred option.
