Experts have named Dublin as one of the world’s best-connected cities for travelers.

The ground transportation experts, Mozio, have revealed the global cities where travelers have the best (and worst) access to the centre from the nearest airport, analyzing factors such as average public transfer time and frequency, estimated taxi fares, and the percentage of people near public transport.

Dublin beat cities such as Barcelona and Munich to be named one of the best-connected cities in the world.

Ireland's capital city ranked 13th on the list, with a score of 5.85.  Researchers found that Dublin was among the best-connected cities in the world, with a 25-minute trip from the airport to the city centre, public transport arriving every 15 minutes, and 25 % of people being near rapid transport. Estimated taxi fare is €21–26.

Meanwhile, Dubai was named the best-connected city in the world, scoring 7.2/10. Renowned for its ultramodern way of life, luxury shopping scene, and majestic skyscrapers, Dubai is a hotspot for travelers worldwide. Alongside these appealing factors, Dubai is the best-connected, with a short 24-minute trip from the airport to the city centre and the public transport arriving every 8 minutes.

The world's second-most-connected city is Florence, Italy, which scored 7.17/10. The picturesque destination has been named amongst the best-connected cities in the world, with a short 20-minute transfer time from the local airport, public transport arriving every 4-5 minutes and 23% of people being near rapid transport.

The Czech capital of Prague completes the top three, scoring 7.11/10. Prague is a popular tourist location due to the city’s affordability and medieval architecture. Alongside these factors, the European city ranks as the third most connected city in the world, with a 30-minute transfer time between the city centre and the local airport, and public transport arriving every 5 minutes.
