Wondering how to give your elementary and middle school age children a sense of Ireland this summer? On Sunday, February 3, 2013 from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. you are invited to drop by the ICCNE Children’s Celtic Camp Open House to learn about the offerings, get to know the camp staff, see a slideshow of activities, enjoy light refreshments and take advantage of early bird registration.
Louise O’Shea, Camp Director, describes the ICCNE Children’s Celtic Camp as “unique to South Shore, Metrowest and Rhode Island areas, for, within a reasonable driving distance, children have access to a gorgeous 42 acre campus that holds a bit of all things Irish: dance, music, arts & crafts, sports, storytelling and literature.” The professionally maintained field provides top-notch practice space; the fields are suited for learning Irish games; and, the classrooms and function rooms are comfortable and conducive to music, language and theatrical learning.
The ICCNE Celtic Children’s Camp is designed with two tracks of activities appropriate for grades 1 through 5 and grades 6 through 8 respectively. This full day camp is licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and the Town of Canton. Space is limited. Advanced registration is required; an early-bird special is offered.
