New York will face Roscommon for the Connacht Senior Football Championship Quarter-Final at Gaelic Park in The Bronx this Sunday, April 12.

As in years past, the match is one of the hottest tickets in town, and organizers are again anticipating a sold-out event. Some 2,500 people are estimated to be traveling from Roscommon for the game.

Tickets - priced at $35 - were being sold at Gaelic Park, as well as The Wild Goose in Woodside, Queens, from 6 pm on Friday.

Limited game and bus tickets will be on sale at 5th & Mad in Midtown Manhattan from 3 pm on Saturday.

Some of the bars in Woodlawn are also selling tickets.

No cash will be taken at the gates on Sunday, organizers said.

For those who aren't making the journey to the Big Apple to catch the match in person, Roscommon v New York will be streamed live on GAA+. A one-off pass to watch Sunday's game on GAA+ is $18, an annual flex pass is $16.99 a month, and an annual pass is $159 a year.

Locals who missed out on tickets - or who are hoping to avoid the big crowds - can tuck into any of the many Irish pubs in Woodlawn, Yonkers, Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn, which will also be streaming the match via GAA+.

Though a late burst surged New York to within one point of Roscommon, New York lost 0-17 to 1-15.

Seven counties will compete in the 2026 Connacht Senior Football Championship: Mayo, Leitrim, Roscommon, Sligo, and Galway, as well as the senior GAA football teams in New York and London.
