The Red Hen Bar in Ireland has had to field Facebook comments from Trump supporters who got Limerick mixed up with Lexington.
Trump supporters were eager to vent their outrage that his Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was asked to leave a Red Hen in Lexington, Virginia, because of her role in his administration. Unfortunately, many of them failed to check whether they were getting in touch with the correct Red Hen. In fact, several of them even failed to establish whether the Red Hen they were contacting is even in the US or affiliated with the chain.
In their fervor to condemn the Red Hen restaurant, the similarly named The Red Hen Bar in Limerick, Ireland, has received social media comments from Trump supporters who weren’t too fussed about their accuracy before making claims against the Irish establishment.
“It is funny, if Sarah was black, a protest would be happening right now!! She showed class!” one user wrote to the Limerick bar’s Facebook page before she was blasted for not bothering to check the location of the bar in question.

The Red Hen, Limerick, is far from the only bar or restaurant to feel the wrath of supporters this week with locations all over the US experiencing the heat from Friday’s incident. It has only been incited further by Trump who rushed to tweet in Sanders' defense on Monday, bashing the Red Hen.
The Red Hen Restaurant should focus more on cleaning its filthy canopies, doors and windows (badly needs a paint job) rather than refusing to serve a fine person like Sarah Huckabee Sanders. I always had a rule, if a restaurant is dirty on the outside, it is dirty on the inside!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 25, 2018
