A trailblazer in both music and fashion, Murphy has always been at the forefront of bringing electronic experimentation and elements of dance music into her own original pop sound, putting them together to create her own blend of art-pop.

First coming to prominence as a member of the seminal 90s electronic duo Moloko, "Hit Parade" marks Murphy's sixth album since going solo in 2005.

Taking inspiration from her early years in the Irish town Arklow, Co Wicklow and immersing herself in the vibrant club scenes of Manchester and Sheffield, Murphy’s discography is a hypnotic blend of diverse sounds and genres

Collaborating with DJ Koze, "Hit Parade" delivers notable tracks like “CooCool,” “The Universe,” and “Fader” and received praise around the world from Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, The Guardian, and more.

Róisín Murphy dove headlong into the music scene when she was just a teenager after her family moved to Manchester in the UK. While she was there she discovered her own love of fashion through thrifting trips with her mother, who was an antiques dealer by trade.

When her parents divorced and moved back to Ireland when she was 15 years old, she decided to stay behind in Manchester and live alone, to continue her artistic
immersion. After a brief flirtation with noise and punk in Manchester’s confines, she hitched over to Sheffield at 19 years old to immerse herself in the club scene.

A chance meeting with local bassist Mark Brydon led the pair to form the celebrated group Moloko. After four albums and a career that included
the indelible hit “Sing It Back,” Moloko split in 2003’s, leading Murphy to move to London and kickstart a new era of creativity
