Conor McGregor, Saoirse Ronan and Mary Robinson are among the popular figures Irish people would most like to share a pint with this St Patrick's Day.

The Olympic-medal winning rowers rose to fame after the Olympic Games in 2016 as a result of their hilarious interviews so its easy to see why they'd be a top choice for a chat over a pint this March 17.

Coming in second place was Conor McGregor (we'll hazard a guess that is was before his incident with a fan this week,) while New York-born actress Saoirse Ronan came in third with 17%.

There was also a strong showing from politicians, surprisingly, with 8% of those surveyed wishing to have a drink with former Irish President Mary Robinson and 7% claiming they'd like to share a pint with Taoiseach (Irish Prime Minister) Leo Varadkar.
