Paul Mescal has curated a new ‘Mixtape’ playlist for music streaming platform Spotify and - not surprisingly - he included a few Irish artists in the shuffle.

Mescal’s “Songs to make you feel something” playlist includes some songs from his latest film “All Of Us Strangers,” in which he co-stars with fellow Irish actor Andrew Scott.

Among the performers in Mescal's Spotify playlist are Irish acts Ye Vagabonds, Junior Brother, Lankum, Lisa Hannigan and stargaze, Damien Rice, Hozier, and The Gloaming.

Mescal is clearly a fan of Ye Vagabonds, who feature three times on the playlist with their songs "Half Blind," "The Foggy Dew," and "Lowlands of Holland."

Junior Brother (aka Ronan Kealy from Co Kerry) is up next with "The Back of Her," followed by Lankum with their song "What Will We Do When We Have No Money?"

Lisa Hannigan, accompanied by stargaze, features with the song "We The Drowned - Live From Dublin," followed by Damien Rice and his song "Accidental Babies."

Hozier's "Butchered Tongue," from his latest album "Unreal Unearth," appears about halfway through Mescal's mixtape playlist, while The Gloaming was included for their Irish jig "Doctor O'Neill."

The 48-song playlist, which runs for just over three hours, has been liked more than 57k times, proving Mescal's taste in music is well appreciated.

Kildare native Mescal has more than 38k followers on Spotify where he’s published 22 public playlists.

The Oscar nominee was previously in a relationship with American indie musician Phoebe Bridgers, whose boygenius bandmate Julien Baker was also included in Mescal's mixtape.

Noticeably absent from the list, however, is Paul's 20-year-old sister Nell Mescal, who is embarking on her own solo music career. Nell has over 65k monthly listeners on Spotify, where her most popular song is "Missing You," which has been listened to more than 870k times.
