Irish actress and comedian Aisling Bea has revealed she's pregnant with a series of hilarious snaps on Instagram this week.

Aisling, a native of Co Kildare, was rubbing shoulders - and bellies - with some of Hollywood's biggest names at the Big Slick Celebrity Weekend, a fundraising event for Children's Mercy health organization, in Kansas City last weekend.

"Dignity intact," Aisling captioned an Instagram post - which featured several pictures of her pregnant belly with a drawn-on smiley face - on June 3.

"Got pregnant so I could try & put something beside Paul Rudd’s face to make him look older," she wrote. (The two starred together in the Netflix comedy-drama series "Living With Yourself.")

Aisling thanked the Big Slick, Paul, as well as Seth Herzog and "super boy" Travis Kelce.

She also thanked Sheryl Crow "for helping me show off my bump in the most dignified & classy way possible.

"Sheryl said myself & Seth could be her very professional back up dancers with our ridiculous idea. How on brand! She really does just wanna have some fun, yawl."

Aisling continued: "And thanks to @jackoby.freeman [Jack Freeman] & @elsie [Elsie Hewitt] for doing full bump glam & to one of them in particular for getting me pregaroo in the first place."

She concluded her lighthearted post: "Edit to save myself admin. Yes I am pregnant. This time it’s not a joke about bread."

Aisling followed up her initial funny post with a more heartfelt one, announcing that the Big Slick raised almost $4 million.

"It’s ever so special a thing to be a part of & requiring soooo much effort by the host’s families & volunteers for what often feels like a weekend summer camp of clowns to mess about in," Aisling wrote in the post with pictures alongside Jason Sudeikis, Will Forte, and Gaten Matarazzo.

Meanwhile, Aisling and her partner Jack Freeman - a composer, musician, and producer - have been together for nearly two years.

Last August, Freeman, who was previously a member of the Australian band Jagwar Ma and has been a member of the UK band Foals since 2020, shared his own sweet snap on Instagram marking the couple's first anniversary.
