Whether you’ve always dreamed of an Irish destination wedding or you plan on getting married in Ireland simply because it’s where you’re from, one thing is for certain: there isn’t a more idyllic setting for your wedding day (aside from the unpredictable weather, of course).
With castles and great houses galore, Ireland has a blossoming wedding industry, and by virtue of this we at IrishCentral have seen more than our fair share of Irish wedding videos over the years, from hilarious speeches to surprise serenades to Irish dance receptions.
But we’ve never seen wedding videos quite as beautiful as those by Dreamcatcher Productions.
Seriously, look at this:
According to their website, Dreamcatcher was launched in 2005 by brothers Gavin and Aaron Gallagher, who had both studied TV & Video production in Ballyfermot College, Dublin and wanted to figure out a way to launch careers for themselves while staying in their hometown of Lahinch, Co. Clare (they’re avid surfers).
Thanks to their highly creative approach to wedding videos (have you ever seen a wedding video with drone footage before?), the company has since expanded to a team of six, including editors, videographers, drone pilots, motion graphics designers and specialist adventure film cameramen.
A look through their portfolio shows they work with weddings big and small, in Ireland and abroad, and elopements.
If these videos are getting you thinking about an Irish wedding, you can check out some of Ireland’s top wedding spots, and learn about Irish wedding traditions to incorporate into your special day.
Or, you can just watch these videos and live vicariously – that’s perfectly fine too!
