Watch an Irish bride and Irish dance teacher take to the stage for an amazing performance at her own wedding reception.

An Irish bride from Co. Tipperary stunned her wedding guests recently when she treated them with a performance from the Irish dancers at her school, only to get up and join the dancers herself, wedding dress and all.

Kathy McGrath, a niece of Irish politician Mattie McGrath, celebrated her marriage in true Irish style by asking 25 Irish dancers to join her in everything from the brush dance, to the Blackbird, hornpipe and heavy reel.

A fantastic display of Irish Dancing at my niece Kathy's Wedding from the Bride herself and her students from the McGrath School of Irish Dance along with their many Dancing Friends! Great entertainment!

“It was the best day of our lives, we were delighted that so many of our best friends from the dancing and music world were able to share their wonderful talent of trad music & dance with all of our guests,” McGrath told Irish radio station Beat 102/103.

McGrath is a professional Irish dancer and runs the McGrath School of Irish dance in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, and so had plenty of talented friends to lend a hand in this amazing performance.

Although she claims it wasn’t well rehearsed, we can’t see a flaw at all!

What do you make of the performance?
