Irish airline Aer Lingus has announced a new Premium Economy Class ticket available for short-haul flights that comes with several perks — including extra leg room.
By purchasing an “AerSpace” ticket, you can get either an aisle or window seat on the first row of the aircraft, with the middle space unoccupied for extra space.

AerSpace ticket holders will have reserved cabin bin space directly overhead for carry-ons, as well as complimentary lounge access, Fast Track security, priority boarding, and on-board refreshments.

There will be four AerSpace seats per aircraft on short-haul flights, Evoke.i.e. reports.

According to the Irish Independent, the new service differs from a traditional ‘Business Class’ and will not be introduced on transatlantic routes.
The new service will begin on September 1st on select destinations across the UK and Europe. Tickets can be booked now from €129 each-way, including taxes and charges.
