Professional baby name consultant Colleen Slagen, known as Naming Bebe on social media, in collaboration with baby retailer JoJo Maman Bébé, has selected some names that are expected to make a comeback in 2025.

Colleen said: "Look out for Margot in 2025. People are gravitating toward feminine, classic-sounding names like Margot, Eloise and Vivian."

Vintage baby names are seeing a big revival in 2025 and Colleen states that "for girls, Louise, Dorothy, Mabel and Maisie are on the rise". Meanwhile, for boys the names "Arthur, Archie, and Howard" have been used recently.

She also stated that "various trends are happening simultaneously" with "short and effortless" names becoming fashionable alongside the return of classic names with names like "Navy, Indy, Drew, and Reya" for girls and "Cal, Mack, Vann and Case" for boys.
