This October, The Genealogy Event, in New York City, invites those with a passion for genealogy and DNA to learn more and connect with opportunities at a series of panel discussions and lectures by experts in the field.
The Genealogy Event, held both in Limerick, Ireland and in prior years in New York will return to New York on October 13, in the grand surrounds of The American Irish Historical Society, located by Central Park, on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Presented by IrishCentral in partnership with the American Irish Historical Society (AIHS) this one-day event will offer an immersive learning and engagement experience.
Throughout the day guests will move according to a schedule of talks within the historic building joining conversation lounges. These areas will serve as designated sections on genealogy, history, and DNA topics.
Guests will hear from experts and then will be invited to join in on the conversation by posing questions, sharing observations to create an equally informative and social exchange. The day-long event will focus on history and vital records, research strategies and a deep dive into DNA research.
The program is currently under development and more information will be released throughout the summer.
For those interested in showcasing their genealogy/DNA product as part of exclusive sponsorship opportunities, or to participate as a speaker/panelist please contact Bridget Bray, VP Sales, Marketing and Events at firstname.lastname@example.org
