The remains of the woman, thought to be aged in her 70s, were discovered during construction of the Midleton to Youghal Greenway in January 2021.
Gardaí [Irish police] engaged with a forensic specialist in facial reconstruction, Dr Michelle Vitali from Penn West University, to obtain the illustrations.
It is thought that the remains belong to a woman, aged in her 70s or older at her time of death, with a height of 5′ to 5’2″.
The woman is said to be ‘large framed’ and wore dentures believed to have been made in around the 1960s.
Other identifying factors include that the woman suffered from arthritis, wore a slip, tights, and a nightdress, and size two brown leather shoes.
The items of clothing and shoes were recovered at the scene.
Gardaí said they were "hopeful" that, based on the entirety of the information, along with the facial reconstruction image, someone could help identify the woman.
They said: "DNA samples have been compared against the National DNA Database, and a positive match has not been obtained at this time. An Garda Síochána is also liaising with Interpol.
"Examinations of missing persons records have not identified any potential matches at this time."
