The Spring Run has raised millions for communities in need around the world – from Haiti to some of the hardest to reach places in Africa, the Middle East, South and Central Asia, even the Korean peninsula. The event started as a friendly competition between bar and pub owners seeking to raise money for Concern. Two decades later, it has grown into a huge, family-friendly event that attracts runners and walkers of all stripes.
Year after year the event has raised at least $100,000 thanks to its participants, who have not just gained a morning of exercise and fun; they’ve helped Concern save and change millions of lives. Given the added importance of this year’s event, the organizers issuing a renewed appeal for more runners and walkers, young and old, to help double that total and double the impact.
