While Ireland has some stand out female chefs – such as Antrim’s Clare Smith and Co Down’s Danni Barry - the industry is notoriously dominated by their male counterparts.

Good news then, that another female chef is to take on a prestigious role in an Irish establishment. Gabriela Gómez Quintana has been announced as the new Executive Head Chef at the five-star Conrad Dublin on Earlsfort Terrace.

Gabriela’s career began with a Chef de Partie position at the renowned five star Savoy London she has continued to work in some of the world’s top hotels. Her cooking style is classic with a modern, international twist.
