Do you have a favorite burger joint in Dublin? It’s a pretty contentious topic in the city center, with nearly every eatery offering a burger in some shape or form and claiming that theirs is truly the best of the bunch.

While we’re sure that nearly everyone has an opinion about where to get burgers in Dublin, this list highlights five of our favorite spots. Read on to find out where we think you should get burgers in Dublin…

Bunsen

South Anne Street, Ranelagh, Wexford Street and Temple Bar

If you haven’t had a Bunsen burger then you really are missing out on some of the best burgers in Dublin. Bunsen’s menu is tiny, offering just burgers, cheeseburgers, sweet potato fries and regular fries, but everything is done so well. The burgers are juicy, perfectly seasoned and so reasonably priced; a hamburger with pickles, onion, lettuce, tomato, ketchup, mustard, mayo costs just €7.45 and will fill you right up.

BuJo

Sandymount Green

BuJo offers a range of stellar burgers made with great Irish ingredients. The BuJo burger, which consists of two grass-fed Irish beef patties, cheese, pickles and BuJo Burger sauce on a toasted brioche bun, is always a delicious option, but they also have Beyond Burger meat-free options available, making sure everyone leaves happy.

WOWBURGER

The Workman’s Club Wellington Quay, Mary's Bar Wicklow Street, Ranelagh, The Square Tallaght, Parnell Street, Wexford Street

WOWBURGER has a very casual, Americana-style vibe, so it’s great for those looking to drop in and grab some good food. We love the chili fries and milkshakes, but it’s the burgers that make WOWBURGER some of the best burgers in Dublin. They’re juicy and flavorsome but be warned: you will make a mess while eating these burgers!

F.X. Buckley

Pembroke Street, Crow Street, Bull and Castle Christchurch, Parkgate Street, Monkstown

F.X. Buckley beef is some of the best in the country, so it’s obvious that their burgers are some of the best in Dublin. Served with beef dripping chips, these burgers are massive, satisfying and full of flavor, so you’re on to a winner when you visit any of the F.X. Buckley locations.

Handsome Burger

Eatyard, Richmond Street

A Galway sensation, Handsome Burger recently ventured to the big smoke to join the Eatyard family. Well known for their signature Handsome Burger, which is made with an Irish beef patty, sticky onions, pickled cucumber and Handsome sauce in a brioche bun, these burgers are new to the Dublin food scene, but we already love them. They’ll be available at Eatyard all season so make sure you head down to grab a burger while you can.
