Cillian Murphy shines, as usual, in the Peaky Blinders season 5 trailer

The Peaky Blinders season 5 trailer has shown the hit BBC show starring Irish actor Cillian Murphy still has plenty up its sleeve to keep us shocked at the trouble that Thomas Shelby and his family find themselves in.

With Shelby, played by Cork native Murphy, now representing South Birmingham in the British Parliament, we can expect plenty of plotting as he grapples with the new power, and of course, makes himself plenty of new enemies. Where would the Shelby family be without a ton of enemies trying to wipe them off the face of the earth after all?

In some of the Peaky Blinders season 5 trailer's most intriguing moments, we see Murphy's Tommy shooting a gun into what appears to be a crucifixion as an explosion also takes place behind it.

We also see Aunt Polly emerging with a handgun, Arthur letting out some steam on a barrel of burning coals and are introduced to Sam Claflin's Oswald Mosley, leader of the British Union of Fascists, who we are expecting to be the Shelby family's enemy #1 in this fifth installment.

Now, all we need is to know the date it will be on our TV screens!
