John “Jack” Schlossberg, the only grandson of John F. Kennedy, made his acting debut in the season finale of CBS’ crime show Blue Bloods.

Jack, 25, is the son of Caroline Bouvier Kennedy and Edwin Schlossberg.

In the crime drama, which aired on Friday night, Jack played the role of Officer Jack Hammer.

He shared news of the acting gig on Instagram, calling the job a “dream come true.”

"I don't make the rules, I just pretend to enforce them — Cash me tonight on season 8 finale of 'Blue Bloods' my dream come true!! Best show in the entire world," he wrote in social media post, which showed him dressed as a police office. Also shown in the photo are his mother, Blue Blood cast members Will Estes and Vanessa Ray, and the show’s executive producer, Kevin Wade.

Jack, a Yale Graduate and Harvard Law student, has already attracted attention for his resemblance to his late uncle, John F. Kennedy Jr, who died in a plane crash in 1999.

In May 2017, he was interviewed alongside his mother, Caroline, a former US ambassador to Japan, on NBC’s Today Show. When asked whether he’d consider going into politics, he said: “I’m inspired by my family’s legacy of public service. It’s something I’m very proud of. Stay tuned. I don’t know what I’m going to do.”
