The show is a spin-off of the massive hit "The Office", but instead of being set in the Dunder Mifflin company, we’re moving the mockumentary from Scranton to Toledo and focusing on a Midwestern newspaper called "The Toledo Truth-Teller".

While the series was announced as streaming on Peacock in the US, it wasn’t clear how fans in Ireland and the UK were going to be able to watch it, but we now have an answer for where the show will be airing, just in time for the release date.

The series by Greg Daniels and Michael Koman will be airing on Sky and NOW and while the show airs on Thursdays in the US, Irish fans won’t have to wait much longer for it to arrive on home soil.

In fact, "the Office" spin-off show will be available on both services the day after its debut in the USA.

The theme of the series will be in a similar vein to its predecessor, keeping with the mockumentary style of the show, but for "The Paper", the plot will focus on the paper trying to bring the historic publication back to life with volunteer reporters.

Alongside Dubliner Gleeson, "The Paper" stars Sabrina Impacciatore, Chelsea Frei, Melvin Gregg, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Alex Edelman, Ramona Young, Tim Key, and Oscar Nuñez.

Also, the first four episodes will air all at once, with two new episodes arriving each week until September 26.

You can catch Domhnall Gleeson in "The Paper" on Sky and NOW when it premieres on September 5, 2025.
