Irish Americans Ben Affleck and Tom Brady were joined by adopted Irishman Matt Damon in a memorable Dunkin' commercial during Super Bowl LVIII on Sunday night, February 11.

Affleck, Brady, and Damon repped for Boston in the Dunkin' ad that saw Affleck try to impress his pop star wife Jennifer Lopez in the recording studio with his musical abilities.

Dressed in a garish orange jumpsuit covered in Dunkin' advertising, Affleck and the "DunKings," featuring Brady on keys and Damon as a reluctant hypeman, lay down a track to an unimpressed Lopez.

"Here comes the Boston Massacre," Affleck announces as he barges into the studio uninvited and performs an awkward dance routine.

"How do you like them ... donuts I'm so sorry," Damon sheepishly says, of course invoking one of his most famous lines from his and Affleck's Oscar-winning film "Good Will Hunting."

An exasperated Lopez shuts her eyes before telling her husband that they had already "talked about this."

"Sometimes it's really hard to be your friend," says an embarrassed Damon when introduced by Affleck.

A disappointed Affleck left the studio after Lopez shot down his record, although the pop star did ask Brady to remain in the studio.

"You remember when I told you I'd do anything for you?" Damon asks Affleck as the pair leave the studio. "This is anything."

"Chill, they're naming a drink after us," Affleck responds.

The commercial aired during the Kansas City Chiefs' dramatic overtime victory against the San Francisco 49ers at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Sunday night.

While Boston natives Affleck and Damon and former New England Patriots star Brady are some of Boston's most beloved stars, the three icons each have their own connections to Ireland as well.

Affleck, who visited Ireland a few years ago to film "The Last Duel," previously said, "I grew up hearing that I was Irish, even though I’d never been to Ireland."

Damon, coincidentally, got stuck in Ireland while filming for "The Last Duel" due to the pandemic. His unexpected Irish stay emerged as one of the more heartwarming Irish stories during the pandemic.

Brady, meanwhile, has Irish roots in Co Cavan.
