Belfast has emerged as a firm favorite with couples, combining lively nightlife, a growing restaurant scene, and a clutch of top rated hotels and attractions that together scored highly in online couple reviews. The Diamonds Factory study analysed TripAdvisor review data to rank cities and attractions by the share and number of positive reviews aimed at couples.

The headline figure from the research is striking. Belfast finished second in the national list with a score of 93.78 percent for couple friendly reviews, narrowly behind Milton Keynes which topped the table at 93.81 percent.

Locals and visitors regularly praise the Belfast for a compact center that makes bar hopping and late dinners easy, boutique hotels that cater to weekend getaways, and guided experiences that turn a short break into something memorable.

For couples planning a Valentine’s weekend the research points straight to a few Belfast staples. Foremost among them is the city’s maritime showpiece. Titanic Belfast sits on the very slipways where the ship was designed and built and is often singled out by visitors for its storytelling and immersive displays.

Titanic Belfast opened in 2012 and occupies a sculptural building beside the Harland and Wolff drawing offices and Hamilton Graving Dock. Visitors move through a self guided Titanic Experience that recreates the sights and sounds of shipbuilding in Belfast and presents artefacts, full scale reconstructions and interactive galleries that trace the ship from conception to launch and beyond.

Diamonds Factory’s list also ranks attractions and reports that Titanic Belfast placed highly among sites with the largest numbers of four star plus couple reviews on Trip Advisor, making it one of the most consistently praised attractions for lovers of history and design. The museum’s reputation for high production values and a sweeping narrative about the city itself has helped make it a natural choice for couples looking for something romantic and culturally rich.
