Celtic winger Aiden McGeady is a target for Bayern Munich, according to Republic of Ireland coach Giovanni Trapattoni.
The 22-year-old has been linked with a move to Jurgen Klinsmann’s side in recent months and the Ireland manager has confirmed he is on the Bundesliga club’s radar.
“I met my old Bayern assistant in Germany recently and he asked me what I think about McGeady because they are following him,” Trapattoni told the Scottish Sun.
“They wanted my opinion and I said McGeady is one of our most important players.
“With more confidence, he has the possibility to improve further.”
