Irish horse Sea The Stars, ridden by Mick Kinane, stormed to a majestic finish in the French Prix de L'Arc de Triomphe Sunday.

And the 3-year-old colt galloped into the history books by becoming the first horse to win Europe's top three races, after winning the 2,000 Guineas and the Epsom Derby.

Sea the Stars, who held off Kieran Fallon's mount Youmzain, is now Europe's champion racehorse.

It was the sixth victory for Sea the Stars in a Group One race and puts him on par with some of Europe's greatest racehorses.

And it was a stunning third victory for Kinane, 50, who first claimed the Arc 20 years ago on Carroll House and 10 years ago on Montjeu.
