Mayo GAA All Star Andy Moran and his new bride Jennifer Drake got a wedding gift to beat all others on New Year’s Eve, when their friends unveiled a lip dub to celebrate their nuptials.

The brainchild of Patrick and Caitriona Sharkey (who also star in the video), friends and family of the happy couple lib dubbed  the popular tune ‘I Gotta Feeling’ by the Black Eyed Peas in various locations around the world.

Childhood sweethearts, the Mayo skipper married the stunning Jennifer Drake at St. Nathy’s Cathedral in Ballaghaderreen, Co. Roscommon on December 31st. The five minute lip dub was unveiled during the wedding reception and features clips from Mayo, Roscommon, Australia, Dubai and New York.

Editor Patrick Sharkey, who stripped off for the occasion, told IrishCentral he is delighted the video is getting such a good reaction.

“Once it hit Twitter, it took off! My phone went into meltdown,” says Sharkey, who got the idea after seeing something similar at a wedding last July.

So far the video has clocked up more than 11,000 views on YouTube.

“The amount of people that have come up to me asking about the video is mad. It's seems to have hit a good note with everyone,” Sharkey told IrishCentral

“Andy and Jenny were thrilled with it so that was the important one.”
