It was D-Day in the National Football League, with promotion and relegation being decided in all four Divisions.

In Division One, Kerry beat Galway to deny them passage through to the final, so Derry's win over Donegal means it will be a repeat of last year's final. That defeat also sees Donegal get relegated along with Westmeath, who were trashed by Dublin.

In Division Two, Cork and Monaghan recorded wins over Armagh and Laois to set up a final date. Wexford and Fermanagh suffer relegation.

In Division Three, Down and Tipperary clinched promotion as both finished on 10 points. Longford, who won on Sunday, and Limerick are set to drop down a tier for next season.

In Division Four, it is Antrim and Sligo that will contest the final after The Yeats County beat Waterford. Bottom-placed team Kilkenny lost again.
