Do you have a spare $122 (€100)? If so, Louth GAA club is hosting a raffle to give one lucky winner the chance to own a newly built semi-detached house.

Longing to purchase property in Ireland but worried about the expense in an increasingly competitive property market? Every Tuesday, IrishCentral brings you an affordable option for owning property in Ireland that puts your dreams a little more within reach.

As part of the "Win a Feckin House" fundraiser - yes, that's really what it's called - a $342,000 (€280,000) abode is up for grabs. Each raffle ticket costs $122 (€100), which means you could own a house in Ireland for exceptionally little.

The four-bedroom 1,500sq foot house, in St Fechin’s in Termonfeckin, County Louth, is newly built and comes with a landscaped garden, rear patio, and solar panels.

Over 500 tickets have already been sold, according to Louth GAA Club's Aidan Greene.

The club is hoping to sell 8,000 tickets while the draw remains open. The lucky winner will be announced on Sunday, December 30, 2018, in the Westcourt Hotel in Drogheda.

The proceeds are being used to build a new community centre.

“If you buy a ticket before August 1 you’ll get six for the price of one so a much better chance of winning.

“Hopefully in the next few days sales will really take off once the word gets out," Greene told the Irish Sun.
