“Here on Earth, it feels like everything good is missing, since you left,” sings 14-year-old Jack in the video.

Jack, along with his younger sister Sarah, tragically lost post their parents at young ages.

The siblings’ mother Margaret ‘Mags’ passed away from an asthma attack in 2002. Later, father Jason remarried and moved the family to North Carolina, but in 2015, Jason was brutally murdered by his American wife Molly Martens and her father Thomas Martens.

Jason had allegedly grown concerned by Molly’s erratic behavior and was attempting to bring his children Jack and Sarah back to Ireland. Molly was demanding partial custody of the two children at the time.

In 2017, Molly and her father Thomas were both found guilty of second-degree murder of Jason Corbett. They are each serving 20-25 years in prison but are appealing the verdict.
