The U.S. Economic Envoy to Northern Ireland, Declan Kelly, welcomed today’s announcement by Randox Laboratories that it will create 242 new jobs in Northern Ireland. Randox is headquartered in County Antrim and has offices around the globe including the United States.

“Today's announcement by Randox Laboratories is another very positive sign for Northern Ireland’s economic outlook.  As I have stated in the past, the private sector needs to lead economic recovery across the region and today’s announcement is another step in the right direction,” stated Envoy Kelly.

“Minister Foster and Invest NI are to be congratulated for their support of this expansion which creates high quality jobs in a sector that will continue to play a vital role in Northern Ireland’s future growth.”

“This week in Washington D.C. we created a number of opportunities to promote Northern Ireland, and we have had a very positive response from companies and business leaders who are new to the Northern Ireland business proposition. We will continue to work to build on these relationships moving forward,” concluded Envoy Kelly.
