Teneo won Best Short Term Earned Media Campaign at the PRCA Awards for their Taycation campaign with Fáilte Ireland.
The awards celebrate "the transformative impact PR professionals and agencies bring to their clients, communities, and the Irish economy."
It was a fantastic night for Teneo who picked up five awards at the ceremony held in The Shelbourne Hotel.
Last August, Fáilte Ireland succeeded in "newsjacking" the recent Taylor Swift concerts at the Aviva Stadium by gifting her a handmade cardigan to reflect the singer's "fondness" for the country and "grá" for traditional knitting.
Their viral marketing campaign, which reached more than nine million people, cost less than €8,000 and featured in 370 different international publications and online outlets.
Fáilte Ireland also worked with several social media influencers, encouraging them to knit a part of the 'Taylor cardigan'.

"For our win, the judges commended our clever ways in creating a stellar campaign from a cardigan.
"Resulting in a cultural moment that saw fans knit their own, pack their bags for a Taylor-inspired break around Ireland, and share their love online, creating nationwide buzz across broadcast and socials.
"The question remains unanswered: Will we see Taylor wearing it sometime? We did get it to her."
