Ireland’s capital city has been deemed “sensual” and “promiscuous”
Dublin has been included in Big 7 Travel's ranking of the Top 50 Sexiest Cities in the World.

The travel site, which named Miami in the US as the sexiest city in the world, explained how they determined their ranking of the 50 sexiest cities:
- Compiled statistics for the cities having the most sex (Lazeeva)
- Data regarding the countries with most sexual searches online (Vouchercloud)
- Research on the best cities for single people
- Research on the sexiest nationalities in the world
- Highest number of romantic restaurants, date night spots, and passion-inducing activities
- Opinions of sexy cities as sampled from our audience of 2.5 million readers

Dublin was the only city in Ireland to be included in the ranking of 50 cities, but it cracked the top ten, landing at number 8.
According to Big 7 Travel, these are the top ten sexiest cities in the world:
- Miami, US
- Paris, France
- Denver, US
- Copenhagen, Denmark
- Cape Town, South Africa
- Zurich, Switzerland
- Cap d’Agde, France
- Dublin, Ireland
- Liverpool, UK
- Los Angeles, US
Of Dublin, Big 7 Travel wrote: “Ireland’s capital city is full of contradictions. On the one hand, it’s one of the most family-friendly cities in the world. For single adults, however, it’s one of the most sensual cities in the world. The Irish accent is so sexy that visitors can’t seem to resist, which might account for the fact that it’s one of the most promiscuous cities in the world.”
Strangely enough, however, earlier this year Big 7 Travel ranked Ireland as the least sexy nationality in the world. Contradiction indeed!
