You've heard about the gang that couldn't shoot straight?
How about the Irish gang who stole an empty cash machine with an "Out of Order" sign?!
The blundering burglars used a mini-digger to steal the ATM machine from the wall of a gas station in Cork.
Not only did the ridiculous robbers make off with an empty cash machine, they also did so in full view of the closed circuit TV.
Police say the ATM has been out of order since Dec. 9 when it was taken out of service by Permanent TSB.
The thieves stole the mini-digger from a nearby building site to grab the ATM out of the gas station wall.
They then used the machine's mechanical arm to rip open the metal housing.
On finding the machine empty, they fled empty-handed in a van which they later abandoned.
