"Fifty Shades of Grey" filming commenced in Vancouver, Canada last weekend, with stars Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson pictured as their alter egos Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele sharing a pot of tea – presumably to discuss all the stuff they’ll be getting up to as sex partners later in the plot.

Northern Irish model turned actor Dornan and Johnson will be busy the next few months. The film’s producer announced that two versions will likely be shot – one semi-sanitized, and one as raunchy as what’s written in EL James’ best-selling novel.

“What we’re kind of hearing from the fans is they want it dirty... they want it as close as possible [to the book],” said producer Dana Brunetti.

“I always thought it would be really cool if we released the R version and then we had an NC-17 version that we released a few weeks later.

“Everybody could go and enjoy the R version, and then if they really wanted to see it again and get a little bit more gritty with it then have that NC-17 version out there as well. That is my idea, but the fans and the studio will benefit from the double dip.”

Fans will definitely have time to think about that choice. "Fifty Shades of Grey" isn’t due in theaters until February 13, 2015.
