Irish cop fired after porn star patrol car sex: A Garda (Irish police officer) who was filmed having sex with an amateur porn star on a marked patrol car has been told he will lose his job. 

Footage of an officer wearing a Garda jacket engaged in a sexual act with a woman on the bonnet of a police car appeared on a pornographic website in early 2017.

The cop, who is in his 30s and stationed in the Munster region, stood before a disciplinary board in recent weeks and was reprimanded with a fine of up to four weeks’ wages.

However, when the case was further examined by Garda Commissioner Drew Harris a decision of dismissal was made and he has been told by Garda management to either resign from the force or face dismissal, reports the Irish Times.

The video made headlines in April 2017 after it was posted to porn website Pornhub under the username “Carla4Garda.”

The footage went viral and subsequently came to the attention of Garda authorities who appointed a team of detectives to investigate the incident which happened when the officer was off duty and took a marked Garda patrol car without authorization.

As the investigation began the officer in question was suspended with full pay but returned to duty. He then faced an internal Garda hearing to decide his fate.

The video, which had more than 11,000 hits before it was removed, features a woman identified as Carla being handcuffed by an officer in a Garda jacket who then reads her rights before she performs a sex act on him on the bonnet of the Garda car.

The officer admitted to investigators that he was the man in the video.

It is understood that Commissioner Harris has the option of not implementing the disciplinary review recommendation but can instead exercise a requirement to resign or face dismissal, and this is what has been offered to the officer by his superiors.
