Winter Storm Juno is desceding upon the Northeastern US, leading to travel delays and flight cancelations. 

Aer Lingus has had to cancel a number of flights between Ireland and North America due to the snow storm and blizzard conditions.

Aer Lingus released a statement saying "customers affected by these cancellations have been notified by SMS and email and will be re-accommodated on the next available flights.

"Those customers whose flights have been cancelled may change their flight free of charge or apply for a refund.

"Customers are advised to check the status of their flight."
