Speaking at the Moet British Independent Film Awards, Liam Neeson said he’s looking forward to “Wrath of the Titans”. He expects to begin filming, in his role as Zeus, in spring 2011.

He also said that the sequel to “Clash of the Titans”,  will have some action packed scenes.

"I've only read half of the script and there is still some work being done - they're on script 10 - but I think it's going to be some kick-a** stuff and a very human story to it," said Neeson.

“We will start next March. I'm very much looking forward to it. It's a whole revamping, you know," he added.

When asked if the movie would be shot in 3D the Belfast actor said “I don't know the answer to that.”

The movie has a tentative release date for Spring 2012.

Sam Worthington (Perseus), Gemma Arterton (Io) and Ralph Fiennes (Hades) are all attached to the sequal. There are also rumors of James Franco playing Poseidon’s son Agenor and Javier Bardem playing Ares.
