The Irish American's walked away with armfuls of awards last night at the 2010 62nd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards.

"Glee" was nominated for a in a whopping 19 categories but ended up winning only two. Outstanding Supporting Actress went to Jane Lynch who plays the coach you love to hate in the hit show. Ryan Murphy, the show's creator, also won an award for his direction of the show.

The brilliant cast of "Glee" provided the awards with an over-the-top opening number at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.

"Mad Men", staring the stunning Crista Flanagan, won an Emmy for Outstanding Drama and Writing for a Drama Series.

Other big winners on the night were Kyra Sedgwick who won the Outstanding Actress in a Drama Emmy award for her work on "The Closer". Outstanding Actress in a Comedy went to Edie Falco for her multi-faceted starring role in "Nurse Jackie".

"Modern Family", not surprisingly, went home with three awards: Outstanding Comedy Series, Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy and Outstanding Writing for a Comedy but sadly "30 Rock" didn't make the cut.
