Ireland's premier design and craft fair made a return to Dublin this week.

Showcase Ireland, the country's largest international trade fair, welcomed almost 400 exhibitors and more than 4,000 buyers from Ireland and overseas.

The event which ran from January 21 -23, was held in Dublin's RDS and presented the very best that Ireland has to offer and the most exciting new goods on the market across home and gift, fashion, jewelry, and well-being.

The annual event is attended by thousands of buyers from across the world, including Ireland, the UK, the USA, Mainland Europe, Asia, and Africa.

At Showcase, the makers behind the products are usually those behind the stands, making the experience more meaningful and insightful for all involved.

The opening day of the event launched with "The Table, The Tree", a dynamic event that fused the fashion and design of Showcase makers with contemporary music and energetic Irish dance.

The piece was styled by Aisling Farinella and inspired by the relationship between the material and the product, championing the maker and sustainable practice.

In addition, the digital marketplace, Showcase Connect proved a success. Using the platform, registered trade buyers were able to browse products and engage with exhibitors. The platform allows buyers to ‘favorite’ products, send instant messages, and set up one-on-one meetings with exhibitors.

Showcase was founded in 1976 by Design & Crafts Council Ireland with support from Enterprise Ireland.
