Wedding bells have been chiming throughout 2025 as some of Ireland's best-known couples made the trip down the aisle.

From heartfelt moments to blowout celebrations, there was no end of nuptials to raise a toast to throughout the year.

And, without further ado, here are all the couples who made it down the aisle in 2025:

January

RTÉ weather presenter Louise gave Carrie Bradshaw a run for her money with one of the most glamorous weddings of the year in New York City at the end of January.

Louise bucked the traditional wedding dress look and opted for a contemporary mini dress with a floor-sweeping train, while some of the Big Apple's most iconic sports served as the backdrop for her wedding photos.

February

Aoife Melia

Dr Aoife Melia made for a beautiful bride as she swapped vows with Tayto heir Charles Coyle at one of the biggest society weddings of the year.

The couple tied the knot at Adare Manor just before Valentine's Day in February, with Aoife opting for a gorgeous Suzanne Neville dress for her big day.

Amee Leigh Murphy Crowe and Neil Costigan

Another fabulous castle wedding in February came courtesy of Irish rugby star Amee Leigh Murphy Crowe.

Amee married her partner, Neil Costigan, at Kilkea Castle and also wore a Suzanne Neville dress for the romantic occassion.

March

Eoghan Quigg and Amy Campbell

Former X-Factor singer Eoghan Quigg and Amy Campbell tied the knot, not once but twice, in 2025.

The first time around was in March in Las Vegas, days after he popped the question. They followed that up with a second summer wedding in Derry.

April

Joey Holden and Laura McArdle

In April, it was former Kilkenny hurler Joey Holden's turn to walk down the aisle with his partner, Laura McArdle.

The couple who has been together for over a decade got married in the scenic Ballykealey House in Carlow with his former teammates in attendance.

Kelly Donnegan and Alex Hermann

Tallifornia's Kelly Donnegan had a special guest star at her wedding... her soon-to-be-born son Jesse, who arrived over the summer.

Kelly wanted a low-key but romantic day, and it looks to have achieved just that! She said of her special day: 'Marrying the most incredible man, no fuss, just love - exactly how we wanted it.

'Grateful beyond words for this moment with many more photos to come.'

Kate Doherty and Laurence Shannon

Athlete Kate Doherty flew home from Austin, Texas, to marry her partner Laurence Shannon at Clonwilliam House in Wicklow.

She looked spectacular in a strapless dress with a lace trim and a long flowing veil, and described the day as the 'wedding of our dreams.'

May

James Dolan and Kelly Boyce

Former Westmeath star James Dolan and Kelly Boyce Jordan also made it down the aisle in 2025.

Kelly told EVOKE about her big day:'My favourite part was waiting outside the church to walk up the aisle, seeing my friends and family, and ironically, this was the part I was so scared of. James cried on the aisle walk which was very special, his speech was so heartfelt; I’ll cherish those words forever.

Maggie McEldowney and John Slowey

It was the third time lucky for the Rose of Tralee winner, Maggie McEldowney, who found her perfect match when John Slowey stepped in as her escort for the competition in 2016.

Fast forward to 2025, and Maggie and John said 'I Do' in Chicago.

Ruth O'Neill and Christian Trautwein

Former Xposé host Ruth O'Neill has found lasting love with Christian Trautwein.

The couple got married in New York in May and posed for photos in a variety of locations before enjoying their wedding dinner at Italian restaurant Il Buco.

June

Kate Flood and hubby Aaron

Footballer Kate Flood was looking pitch perfect on her big day out in Louth in a plunging, embellished gown.

She and Adam marked the day with a huge celebration at Ballymascanlon Hotel.

Justine King and Conor O'Reilly

Ireland AM stylist Justine King was the epitome of chic when she married her partner Conor O'Reilly in June.

Their loved-up celebration was hosted at the Merrion Hotel in Dublin.

Diana Bunici and Steve Garrigan  

Presenter and former EVOKE gal Diana Bunici looked out of this world when she glided down the aisle with Kodaline's Steve Garrigan.

She wore two beautiful looks on her big day, and it's hard to pick a winner.

Danny O'Donoghue and Anais Naing

Another musician who said I Do in 2025 was Danny O'Doinoghue from The Script, who married Anais Naing

The future hubby and wife first met during COVID, and Anais has inspired Danny's music.

Paul Byrom and Cat McKeown

Tenor Paul Byrom also said 'I do' in May. He married his longtime love, Cat, in a beautiful ceremony in Spain.

Paul told EVOKE that they had settled on Spain for their nuptials as it holds precious memories for them, and they knew it was somewhere their guests would enjoy.

Ciara Revins and Mark O'Connell

After hosting the prettiest legal ceremony on Cork in May, Ciara Revins and Mark enjoyed their dream wedding in Spain the following month.

Ciara opted for a very avant-garde dress for the second time around, in a fitted dress with a sheer bodice embroidered with a floral motif, while Mark was dapper in a cream jacket.

Eoghan Sands and Maeve Lofthouse 

Down hurler Eoghan Sands and his partner Maeve had the perfect day out at Loughguile Castle in Antrim in June.

'The day was brilliant, madness from start to finish. DJ Magiggs, the best in the business, MC’d the day so there were games after dinner [hula hoop competition, egg and spoon races], table karaoke, and performances from [their guests dressed up as] Freddy Mercury, Michael Jackson and more,' he told EVOKE

July

Tess O'Connor and Jordan Coghlan

Tess O'Connor was every inch the blushing bride when she tied the knot with rugby union player Jordan in July.

Atzaró in Ibiza was the venue for their luxurious nuptials.

John Cooney and Rachel McConaghie

Another rugby star who made it down the aisle was former Ulster star John Cooney and his partner, Rachel McConaghie.

John, who now plays for the French side Brive, looked utterly thrilled as he swapped vows with his love in Chateau de Sáint-Martory in France, surrounded by his rugby friends.

Brian McFadden and Danielle Parkinson 

It was a case of third time's a charm for Brian McFadden, who tied the knot with Danielle Parkinson on the beach in July on Lusty Glaze Beach in Newquay, with their daughter Ruby playing a sweet role in the day.

Annaliva Hynes and Ruairi McGovern

TikTok royalty Annalivia Hynds' big day was never going to be anything other than social media-friendly from start to finish.

She tied the knot with Ruairi McGivern at Killeavy Castle Estate in Co. Armagh in July.

Jack Carty and Sarah Twadell 

Connacht rugby star Jack Carty also made it to the altar in 2025. He married his partner, interior designer Sarah Twadell, in July.

The couple chose Kilruddery House in Wicklow as their wedding venue.

Nichola Fryday and Stuart Townsend

Rugby star Nichola Fryday swapped the pitch for the altar in the summer when she tied the knot with fellow rugby star Stuart Townsend.

The star of the show, however, might just have been their four-legged groomsman.

August

Diarmaid Byrnes and his partner Elaine 

Limerick hurler Diarmaid Byrnes and his partner, Elaine, were surrounded by friends, family and his teammates when they walked down the aisle in Killarney

Saoirse Monica Jackson and Denis Sulta

Derry Girl's Saoirse Monica Jackson might just win the award for most photogenic wedding of 2025.

She tied the knot with Denis Sulta in Kerry in August in the most striking wedding dress, with her intended representing his roots in a kilt.

September

Fionnuala Jay and Cian Roche


'So nice I married him twice' Fionnuala Jay was another well-known face who had two wedding ceremonies in July.

She married her partner Cian in a civil ceremony in April before hosting a big bash in Cork in September.

Valerie Wheeler and Gavin Young

RTÉ sports presenter Valerie chose a sun-soaked destination for her wedding to Gavin Young.

They chose to get married in Portugal, with The Sunday Game star declaring that she had 'Found my forever caddy.'

Holly Carpenter and Jamie Hunt

The guest of honour at Holly Carpenter's first registry wedding in May was no doubt her beloved dad, who has been battling serious health issues, so little no wonder that she wanted to pull out all the stops.

Her second destination wedding in France was even bigger, but sadly,without her dad, who was too sick to travel.

October

Niall O'Meara and Ciara Reidy

Ex Tipperary player Niall O'Meara and his partner Ciara Reidy looked especially loved up as they walked down the aisle in October.

Speaking to EVOKE about her special day, she said: 'Niall's got a scrapbook delivered to my house on the morning of the wedding, and he had literally put together, with a pritstick, different things since the moment we met right up to the present moment.' Looking at all their happy times together, Ciara couldn't wait to get to the church.'

Ryan Tubridy's picture-perfect nuptials unfolded over the first weekend in December, and just six months after he popped the question.

The host tied the knot with Dr Clare Kambamettu at Abbeyglen Castle in Connemara, which is owned by his cousin, and the newlyweds could not have looked happier in exclusive pictures published by EVOKE.

Clare was every inch the blushing bride in a classic, off-the-shoulder ivory dress with a glittering band around the waist, which she previously revealed she found in a sustainable bridal boutique in Naas.

They opted for a 'Naked' wedding cake as an alternative to the iced options, and also picked an unusual first dance option: Mr Blue Sky by Electric Light Orchestra.

Louise Cooney and Mark Sweeney 

Louise shunned the conventional full-skirted wedding dress in favour of a fitted, off-the-shoulder lace design with a sheer panel that was wholly unique and suited her beautifully as she walked down the aisle with Mark Sweeney,

The couple tied the knot at Cashel Palace in Tipperary in front of their well-known friends and family, including, most importantly, their adorable son Jude, who managed to steal the show!

Dee Devlin and Conor McGregor

Dee and Conor shocked fans with their under-the-radar wedding in The Vatican in December.

There were reportedly concerns about the 'appropriateness' of their nuptials being hosted at the historic church, but by all accounts, the day appeared to go off without a hitch, with hundreds of flowers on show and a fake Lamborghini with their name in lights.
