This Irish whiskey recipe is perfect for colder evenings and Lord knows Ireland's had a few of these this "summer"!

Irish whiskey hot chocolate recipe
Ingredients:
- 150g dark chocolate
- 150ml water
- 25g caster sugar
- 1 teaspoon cornflour
- 50ml Irish whiskey
Method:
- Chop up the chocolate. Add it to the water and sugar. Place it in a saucepan and melt over a low heat.
- Pour the water and sugar into a saucepan and add the cornflour. Whisk until the cornflour is dissolved. Cook over a medium heat, whisking all the time until it comes to the boil.
- Break up the chocolate and begin stirring until the chocolate is completely melted. Then add in the shot of whiskey.
TIP: Instead of making this with water you can make it with coffee.
